Our ditch has water in it 3 days a week when it's Grandpa's irrigation turn, which happened to be during the time of our BBQ. The kids were staying clear of the ditch, until Grandpa threw in a floating tube. Then the Hobbs' kids jumped in fully dressed, followed by the rest of the kids!
This is was the adults' immediate response:
The kids absolutely loved it!
When you get a group of rambunctious boys together, crazy things are bound to happen. Jumping on the trampoline quickly turned from this:

(it's kind of like playing in the plastic balls at McDonald's but country-boy style with apples off the tree!)
Kendra (the only girl) and little Aidan played in the water that was flooding grandpa's grass, keeping their distance from the rowdy boy bunch!
After dinner, we noticed there was a watermelon caper who took bites out of each piece and left the rest.
It wasn't long before we realized who the culprit was! (I thought it might've been him because he does the same thing with strawberries!) 
We thorougly enjoyed the evening, with all of its unexpected comical occurrences!

Ha Ha! I totally forgot that Kanyon did that. Oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard when the kids fell in! Thanks for the awesome burgers and fun!
Hahaha....love the watermelon. That is so typical around here. Kaden and Dustin would have done the same thing. haha
