enjoying the ride

One late Friday afternoon in September, we spontaneously decided to go on a family 4-wheeler ride.

We drove up the road about 3 miles until we got to the canyon-head of the mountains, and that's where we stopped.

We got off the ATV's and the boys played in a creek for a while, and Josh and I just enjoyed watching them.

Then we got back on the 4-wheelers and rode home, just in time to make dinner and eat it with a friend.
The whole evening was pure bliss.
