July Family Camping Trip

Our family vacation for July was a camping trip to McDonald Flat campground in the Salmon National Forest. We'd never been there before, but it's a good location for some day rides for the boys on their motorbikes. We went up on a Friday after the guys were done with work, and we stayed for 2 nights. We took all 3 motorbikes, so Josh and the twins could go on rides together on both Friday and Saturday. The first day they rode up to the Yellowjacket mine area, and on Saturday they rode to Opal Lake. Kanyon stayed at the campground with me and we played games and worked on different small projects while they were gone. It was a really relaxing camping trip, and so nice to spend some time together as a family!

This was the view from the front door of the trailer. I liked the sound of the
running water so close to the trailer.
