What do these 5 things have in common? They are the names of lakes. But more specifically, they are the 5 lakes that we have visited in the last 5 1/2 weeks. I feel like this summer has been the summer of lakes! At the end of July we went on a Perkins Family Reunion to Fish Lake in southern Utah for 3 days. At the beginning of August, we took a day trip with the Perkins cousins to enjoy beautiful Bear Lake in northern Utah. The next weekend, we went camping with our friends the Lingers to Iron Lake, a beautiful fishing lake in the mountains an hour and a half away. The following weekend we took a day trip to Williams Lake (only 10 miles from our house) and spent a few hours relaxing in the water and playing with Josh's friends the Stephenson's. This last weekend, we camped at Meadow Lake in Idaho, which is 60 miles southeast of our house, to revisit the place that Ammon fell in a rockslide last year. 5 lakes, 5 weeks, 2 states, 1 summer, and many memories later...

We hiked to this beautiful little pond where the boys loved playing!

looks like you have been busy, busy, busy this summer! How was Ammon when returning to the site of the accident?
Looks like you are having lots and lots of fun. The kids sure are growing up!
I read your blog a lot, but I rarely comment. I like seeing pics of your boys and all the fun stuff that you're able to do! The GRE is a standardized test to get into grad school. It stands for Graduate Record Exam. The GRE tests on abstract thinking skills in the areas of math, vocabulary, and analytical writing. It might be the death of me. I hope to see you soon.
