2022 Goals Report

It took us a little longer than usual to evaluate our goals from last year. Usually we do it in January, but nothing has been "usual" about our holidays OR traditions this past year. Time seemed to escape before we finally got around to goal-setting for the new year, so instead of happening in January, we discussed our goals from last year and this current year on March 4th--the only date of the year that's an action statement: "March FORTH"--which is an ideal statement for the occasion!

Family 2022 Goals: (I think this was our worst family goal report ever!)

SPIRITUAL: Have 'Come Follow Me' lessons twice a month -- NO

SOCIAL: Watch TV shows together weekly -- NO

PHYSICAL: Go camping together twice -- NO. Josh and I went 4 times, but sadly it never worked out with the kids' schedules for them to join us.

Family 2023 Goals:

PHYSICAL: Take a vacation together to Bear Lake beach

SOCIAL: Host 3 friend get-togethers

PERSONAL: Have a weekly TV night together

Kala's 2022 Goals: (sadly only 50%, which isn't like me either)

SPIRITUAL: Go back to the temple for the first time since 2019 -- YES, I went 4 times while getting the twins ready for their missions: once to the Meridian Temple in July with Josh, once to the Idaho Falls temple with Jonah, Micah, and Josh for the twins' first time, once to the Logan temple with my parents, the twins, and Josh, and once more with Micah when his friends Erik and Boaz went through for their first time.

PHYSICAL: Go to 30 hot springs in Idaho -- YES! I went to 31 this year!

INTELLECTUAL: Renew teaching license -- No

PERSONAL: Build a pantry and covered front porch -- No. I had saved money for the project, and had spoken to 2 contractors, but then I spent the money on our rafting trip down the Middle Fork, medical bills, and other travel costs instead.

Kala's 2023 Goals:

SPIRITUAL: go to the temple 4 times

PHYSICAL: donate blood 4 times

INTELLECTUAL: renew teaching license
