2020 Goals Report

The LDS church came out with a new program to replace the existing youth programs, effective January 1, 2020. The new activities program is called "Children and Youth". The purpose behind it is for youth to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ, and to help them progress in different areas of their life in order to meet today's challenges. It is based upon this scripture: "Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man" (Luke 2:52). The objective is for youth to create a goal in each of these four areas: Intellectual, Physical, Spiritual, and Social, and to constantly be striving to attain their goals. When one is accomplished, a new one can be set. We already made goals as a family each year, so this new program aligns perfectly with our family's tradition.

At the beginning of January, we examined our goals from last year, and made new goals for the new year in each of the four categories.
