2018 Goals Report

Kala's 2018 Goals:1. PHYSICAL: Get weight under 200 [No, but got SUPER close! It was down to 207 in the fall, which I was really proud of]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Get transcript and become fully certified with teachers license [YES!!! It was a very grown-up exciting moment!]
3. SPIRITUAL: Go to temple 6x [No, I only went 2x--Jordan River open house, and Logan for niece Jessalyn's wedding]
4. PERSONAL: Keep up to date on blog [YES! I was a bit behind, but caught back up!]
5. FINANCIAL: Pay off student loans and credit card [YES and No--I paid off my student loan, but not my credit card yet.]


2019 Goals
Get weight under 200 pounds (I'm not going to give up on this!)
Finish reading the Book of Mormon (I began in December of 2018)
Pay off my credit card
Visit 3 new temples this year


Josh's 2018 Goals: 
1. PHYSICAL: Get weight to 200 [No]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Get Ammon to college [YES!! It was a stressful spring getting everything done to help with college applications and scholarship deadlines.]
3. SPIRITUAL: Fast and pay fast offerings 6 times [No]

4. PERSONAL: Take Kala on date once a month [YES! This was a fun goal to complete!]
5. FINANCIAL: Pay off the suburban and one credit card [YES and No--the suburban got paid off, but not a credit card yet.]

2019 Goals:
Get weight to 200 pounds or less
Read Book of Mormon
Pay off a credit card
Climb a new mountain


Ammon's 2018 Goals:

1. PHYSICAL: Finish Beaverhead 55K [YES!! He ran it in an amazing 8 hours and 47 minutes!]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Be Valedictorian with 4.0 [YES! He was one of 6 in his class, and he got to speak at his H.S. graduation.]
3. SPIRITUAL: Read Doctrine & Covenants [No]
4. PERSONAL: Place at State Golf as an individual [Heartbreakingly, no. He was within medal contention the first day of competition, but not after the 2nd day.]

2019 Goals:
Successfully complete his first year of college
Finish his first summer internship


Jonah's 2018 Goals:
1. PHYSICAL: Break a 5:35 mile in track [No, but got super close--his fastest time was 5:45.]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Get straight A's [YES!! He's a great student!]
3. SPIRITUAL: Get Eagle Scout [No, but all that he has left to do is his project.]
4. PERSONAL: Don't say "frick" or "fricking" [Not completely, but there was a huge improvement!]

2019 Goals
Get straight A's
Do his eagle project
Read scriptures every day
Ride dirtbike to a new place


Micah's 2018 Goals:
1. PHYSICAL: Run a 5K in 18:40 [YES! At the state meet, he ran it in 17:39!]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Get straight A's [YES! He's an excellent student!]
3. SPIRITUAL: Do Eagle project [No, but all he has left to do his his project, which he already started]
4. PERSONAL: Write in journal once a week [mostly]

2019 Goals:
Place at District XC individually
Get eagle project done
Read Book of Mormon every day
Get straight A's


Kanyon's 2018 Goals: 
1. PHYSICAL: Pass Scout Swim Test [No]
2. EDUCATIONAL: Get straight A's [YES!]
3. SPIRITUAL: Be good in primary [YES! He was happy to advance to YM in January with the new policy change this year!]

4. PERSONAL: Eat breakfast every day without being reminded [No]

2019 Goals
Get straight A's
Go to the temple 3x
Run 2 miles at XC in 16 minutes
Shower 3x a week


Family 2018 Goals:
Go camping at Stanley Lake [YES! We went in August with Ryan Stephenson's family.]
Finish reading the Gospels in the New Testament [No, but almost--we only had 5 more chapters to go!]
Have 3 family outdoor get-togethers in summer [YES! We had one each month, and they were so much fun!]

2019 Goals:
Have 3 family get-togethers in the summer
Have a weekly social media break on Sunday afternoon/evenings
Go to the sand dunes as a family
