This fall, Jonah and Micah played their first team sport: Soccer. The coordinator for the last two years wasn't going to do it anymore, and soccer wasn't going to happen this year. My boys were all interested in playing, so I signed up to be the organizer and enrolled all three older boys in the sport.
Jonah and Micah were on the same team, the Orange Wolves, and were coached by their dad, Josh. The 8 kids on their team were between the ages of 4 and 6. Jonah and Micah both did pretty well for their first year playing. At the beginning of the season, Micah was more aggressive about kicking the ball. Towards the end of the season, Jonah became the more aggressive one with handling the ball. During the season, Micah scored 1 goal, and Jonah got 2. Their team won their first and only game on the very last game-day of the season, and the team was SO excited!!
I enjoyed watching them play. It was so funny watching the little kids run around trying to kick the ball. Soccer is a fun sport, and the boys really liked playing.
Micah and Jonah got new shin-guards for their birthday.

Coming off the field for half-time.
Kicking the ball!

Love that first photo! and you and Josh are way more ambitious than us. All we do is ballet and I still wish we hadn't signed up for it. And I would never coach!
