Trains, Planes, Automobiles, & other things that go VROOM!

Kanyon has extremely sensitive senses. He can hear things, see things, and feel things so much more easily than the rest of us see, hear, and feel. It amazes me daily all that he observes and feels!

Some of the things that he absolutely LOVES to hear and see (as long as they're not too close to be super loud which hurts his ears and head): Helicopters, Planes, Trains, Semi Trucks, Tractors, Trucks hauling Trailers, 4-wheelers, Motorcycles, and Race cars! (Doesn't that sound like pretty much anything that goes VRROOOM?!)

This is how he says some of his favorite things:
Train= too too wain
Semi Truck= glactor gluck
Helicopter= ehcopter
Airplane= airpane
Tractor= glactor
4-wheeler= rie (ride)
motorcycle= moorgycle
racecar= car car
Whenever he plays with any of those kinds of vehicles, the noise he makes for all of them (except the train) is a revving grunt grunt noise! I find it delightful to see and hear the world through the description of our two-year-old's sights and sounds!

I love each of the stages my children are in... Ammon is old enough to read, and understand concepts, and be independent, and help with the younger children. Jonah and Micah are old enough to be potty-trained, and can help themselves, and help around the house and with dinner, and are ready to begin learning in Kindergarten! Kanyon is old enough to participate in some of our family's activities, and learns by imitating his older brothers, and is full of excitement and wonder! Just yesterday, Ammon told me he wishes Kanyon would always stay two because he is so fun to play with. I remember thinking that way about Ammon when he was little-and now he's 9! And because baby Kanyon is our last child, I find myself wishing his fun, cute, discoverful stage of life could last longer too!
