it tastes FERBulous!!!

I was afraid the boys might have a little difficulty in eating our pig Ferb.
That hasn't been the case at all.
"It tastes a little different than the skinny bacon we buy at the store," said Ammon.
"Which one do you like better, the store bacon or Ferb's bacon?" I asked.
"Definitely eating Ferb!!!" he replied.
Every time I cook bacon, the delicious smell envelopes our home by way of smoke.
Lots and lots of smoke.
Which always produces two on-call firemen.
They get their hats on and are quickly ready to attack the smoke with their imaginary extinguishers.

Yum! FERB-alicious Bacon! Those are some pretty handsome fireman to the smoke rescue! :-)

This just makes me think about when we had little lambs growing up... and we named them... and bottle-fed them... and killed them... and ate them.

Hey, if you don't like the smoke, we discovered a new trick. You put the bacon in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes. It's a lot less hassle because you don't have to stand there and flip it and all that jazz that comes with cooking bacon. If you haven't tried it before you should. Anywho...just thought I'd share.
