good times

I love where we live, especially in the summer. Good times are always had in the sun, in the ditch water, and in the big backyard, especially when friends come over. This summer it seemed like we always had friends over, and I felt such euphoria being outside enjoying our beautiful surroundings as well as awesome company. Thank you to those of you who stopped by this summer and stayed & played with us for a while, you truly enriched the sunny season for us!

My friend Amanda & I sat on this swing (as well as the hammock, grass, benches...) and chatted a LOT!

The Beesley's visited us in June. We played in the dirt pile, climbed trees, played in the ditch, and swung on the stride swing (among lots of other things)...

 

One afternoon in June, our yard was literally full of kids and adults! Tim & Barb came, Amanda and her kids, Krissy & her kids, and Celyn & her kids. It was one of my MOST favorite days this whole summer!

The Sumner's visited in July. We swung on the tire swing, played in the ditch, and the barrel train (and other stuff, too)...

The Evans' and LaMont's came by a few more times throughout the summer, and the kids had SO much fun playing in the ditch together! They never tired of it!

One afternoon, the Hobbs' kids came over. The kids searched for skeeters on the water and little tadpoles. They played on the trampoline, and in the yard, and in the house, too.

 

I miss when summer is over, because I miss the warm sun, the lazy days, and all the friends who frequently stop by! We had a lot of cousin time this summer, too--between all the reunions we hosted and reunions in town that relatives came to, we had a lot of visitors! It was such a fun-filled, people-filled summer! I love fall, but I miss the happy days of summer already!
